Embedding content from other sites

With whom we share data

We use various external services on our website in order to provide the full functionality of the website, to facilitate communication and to enable the booking of services. In some cases, personal data may be transferred to providers outside the European Economic Area (EEA). The transfer of data is carried out exclusively on the basis of appropriate security mechanisms in accordance with Art. 44 et seq. RODO.

Contact forms (Contact Form 7, Elementor Forms)

We use the contact forms on the website to enable you to contact us.
The provision of data is voluntary, but necessary for the handling of the enquiry.
The data processed may include, but is not limited to: name, surname, email address, telephone number, content of the message.

To protect forms from abuse (spam, bots), we use the service Google reCAPTCHA, provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland).
As part of the use of reCAPTCHA, the user's browser transmits certain technical data (IP address, browser data, time spent on the website, etc.) to Google.
The legal basis for the processing is Article 6(1)(f) RODO (legitimate interest of the administrator - ensuring the security of the forms).

Google also processes data in the USA on the basis of Transatlantic Data Privacy Framework, that provide an adequate level of protection.

Google Maps

Google Maps was embedded on the site to showcase the company's location.
The provider of the service is Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland).
Once consent has been given, data (e.g. IP address) may be transferred to Google servers, also in the USA, as part of the Data Privacy Framework.

The legal basis for data processing is user consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the RODO.
Consent may be withdrawn at any time.

TranslatePress (page translation)

We use the plug-in TranslatePress, which allows the content of the website to be translated into different languages.
If you activate translation via the Google Translate API, data (e.g. text queries) may be sent to Google Ireland Limited.
Processing only takes place with consent (Article 6(1)(a) RODO).

Beds24 (booking form)

Embedded on our website is accommodation booking form Supplied by Beds24 Ltd. (Beds24 Ltd, 20-22 Wenlock Road, London N1 7GU, UK).
The service allows you to check availability and make a booking online.
Data processed as part of the form includes, but is not limited to: name, surname, email address, dates of stay, booking preferences.
The data is transferred to Beds24 Ltd for the purpose of processing the booking.

Data processing is carried out on the basis of user consents (Article 6(1)(a) RODO).
Beds24 processes data in the UK, which has a EU adequacy decision, meaning that the level of data protection is considered equivalent to that in the EU.

Transfers of data to third countries

Some of the services mentioned (e.g. Google) may transfer personal data to third countries, including the United States.
The transfer of data is only carried out on the basis of appropriate legal safeguards, such as:

 

    • European Commission adequacy decision,

    • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC),

    • or participation in the Data Privacy Framework (DPF).

Summary

We collect and process data only to the extent necessary to provide the services available on the website (forms, maps, bookings).
All integrations with external services (Google, Beds24) are configured to load only after the consent of the user in the cookie banner.

What rights do you have to your data

If you have a user account or have posted comments on this site, you may request a file with an exported set of your personal information held by us, including all information provided by you. You may also request that we delete all personal data in our possession. This does not apply to any data we are obliged to retain for administrative, legal or security reasons.
